Bek graduated from Curtin University in 2013 with honours in the area of pain sensitivity in chronic Whiplash. Bek worked as a Senior Inpatient Orthopaedic/Neurosurgical physiotherapist in the private health system before joining the Biosymm team in early 2018. She also works part-time as an Orthopaedic Research Officer at St John of God Murdoch. Bek developed a passion for Orthopaedics, especially in optimal recovery following joint replacement surgery, leading to her role as Rehab Coordinator for Biosymm’s In-Home Orthopaedic Rehab service.
Bek is currently studying a Masters of Business (MBA) Innovation and Leadership at University of Canberra/Ducere Business school.
Bek volunteers for Australian Doctors For Africa, providing physiotherapy and rehabilitation training in Ethiopia. In her spare time, Bek enjoys playing soccer, going to the gym, and watching AFL.
